Mr. Sudhakar Gande is a veteran in Indian Corporate World with illustrious career. One of the prides of Hyderabad, Telangana. Sudhakar is a son of Ex-Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNTU), Prof. Lakshminarayana Gande.
Started his career in renowned American Express Bank in Mumbai, the finance capital of India, he rose to become one of the youngest Senior Directors of American Express Bank worldwide and in his decade long stint with the Bank. He worked in India and other important overseas locations. A leader and great orator with eloquence. Sudhakar's core competencies include Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Venture Development, Corporate Strategy. He dealt, advised and served the doyens of Indian Inc., Tatas, Ambanis, Ruias, Mahindras, Jindals, GMR Group, Dr. Reddy's, Kalyanis, just to name a few.
After having served American Express Bank, entrepreneurial streak bug bit him to start on his own. He set up a NBFC in the name of Lexicon Finance Ltd. to offer value added services in the areas of Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Advisory Services including Debt Restructuring, Corporate Strategy, etc. Several landmark transactions were executed by Lexicon that include raising equity capital and debt for BPL Mobile, Jindal Group, Dr. Reddy Labs, ISMT Group, GMR Group etc. He also ventured into IT industry by setting up Lexicon Infotech Ltd.

In the year 2002, his hometown welcomed him back with warmth. Sudhakar was chosen by RBI to be the Managing Director & CEO of Global Trust Bank headquartered in Hyderabad. During the short span of 3 years, he turnaround the bank and obtained firm Equity Commitment by a Multi-Billion Global Private Equity Firm from USA. However, RBI decided to merge the Bank with a Nationalised Bank and he was assisted in the amalgamation process of the Bank with the Nationalised Bank.
Later in 2005, he moved to Bangalore to join newly setup Jupiter Capital Group as CEO. Jupiter Capital grown in size and currently it is a private equity fund managing over $ 1 billion and invested in several companies in the areas of Tech, Media & Entertainment, Hospitality, and Wellness Tech, etc. He held key positions in the group's various companies. As Vice Chairman of Axis Cades Technologies Ltd, he built the Company and taken it to greater heights. Today, it's a name to be reckoned with in Technology, Aerospace & Defence industry world, having nearly 3000 employees across the globe operating in 12 countries with revenue of over $ 100 million. ๎e Company was built into an $ 100 Million Company in about a decade and Sudhakar played an extremely important role in Company achieving this landmark.
Besides, he played a key advisory role in the acquisition and subsequent sale of Asianet to Star TV. He also successfully managed the group's Investments in Republic TV, acquisitions of tech companies such as Mistral, Cades etc. under AXISCADES Technologies Ltd. On his academic front, Mr. Gande had a brilliant Academic career and completed his BE (Electronics) and pursued M. Tech (Electronics and Computers) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and MBA in Finance from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University. He holds other key positions in Industry Bodies and Government Committees. He is currently Co-Chairman, FICCI Committee on Aerospace & Defence and also member of FICCI National Executive Committee, Founder and Chairman of US India SME Council based in Washington which is actively involved in bringing together MSME Companies in India & USA.
