Initially dealing in kerosene in association with Burma Shell, the family transitioned to becoming the largest distributors of Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) in India through the government's public distribution system (PDS) operating from multiple locations in and around Hyderabad. e Gangisetty legacy, carried forward by Mr. Harish's father, Mr. Venkateshwara Rao, and uncles, reached new heights with ventures spanning cellular services, construction, and real estate.
Mr. Harish Gangisetty's innovative spirit and forward-looking vision took shape in the form of premium studio apartments for hiring in the West Hyderabad. Collaborating with his cousin, Mr. Uppalanchi Raj Kumar, he expanded their presence across different parts of the city, exemplified by the Sunrise Infra brand. In 2011, Mr. Harish Gangisetty, along with his friends/ co-founders, established Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology (SVIT) and Bolton School in Secunderabad. SVIT started with 180 students has flourished into an institution of excellence, accommodating 2000 students.
